Job summary

Acron Aviation is seeking a highly motivated Specialist RF Engineer to join the RF Design team. This full-time, in-person role will be based in Phoenix, AZ or Grand Rapids, MI and will focus on delivering mission critical RF systems for ACSS/TCAS, transponder, DME, and UAT products.

The engineer will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, and systems teams to analyze requirements, select components, capture schematics, and layout RF assemblies while supporting existing products in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years in RF design; graduate degree with 2+ years preferred.
• Minimum 4 years RF design experience for fielded products, preferably commercial avionics.
• Solid academia background in EM and RF/microwave theory.

Responsibilities

• Derive RF hardware requirements from system specifications.
• Detail functional blocks to support surveillance architectures.
• Design RF/analog circuits from component to system level; hardware development and testing.
• Support DO-160 and MIL-STD qualification of RF electronics.
• Lead design reviews and present concepts and results to management and customers.
