Job summary

Acron Aviation in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Specialist Electrical Engineer for the Surveillance product line to drive TCAS and transponder radio innovations, spanning concept, design, qualification, and lifecycle management.

You will apply data-driven analysis and AI-assisted tools to accelerate design, verify avionics hardware, and collaborate across mechanical, RF, firmware, and software teams to deliver safe, reliable aerospace solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 5+ years in avionics hardware.
  • Hands-on experience with avionics products, RF systems or sensor-based products.
  • Experience applying AI-enabled tools for hardware design and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design, integrate, and qualify digital, analog, and power circuitry for avionics.
  • Develop schematics and support PCB layout; CAD reviews.
  • Support certification documentation and PHAC development.
  • Apply AI/ML tools to accelerate circuit design, analysis, and verification.
  • Collaborate across engineering disciplines and interface with customers.
  • Travel up to 10%.
