Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an electrical engineer to develop RF payload hardware for the TeraWave satellite network. You will help establish electrical engineering excellence across hardware systems, enabling a high-capacity global network and smooth integration with antenna systems.

The role involves leading PCB design, power management, and lab bring-up of complex boards, with a focus on high-speed mixed-signal performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of complex hardware product development experience.
• Proficiency with EDA tools and layout guidelines for high-speed boards.
• Hands-on experience using high-speed scopes, spectrum analyzers, and VNAs.
• Proven track record across full hardware lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-layer, high-density interconnect PCB designs with strict isolation of high-speed lines and microwave routing.
• Design power systems (PoE, DC-DC, PMICs) for beamforming operations.
• Perform simulations to minimize noise, crosstalk, and EMI across the system.
• Lead hardware bring-up, debugging, and lab testing of system-level boards.
