Job summary

Teledyne Microwave Solutions in Mountain View is seeking a Quality Engineer to assure that all quality aspects meet contractual requirements. The position focuses on design, incoming material, production control, and product evaluation.

You will lead cross-functional teams, implement Six Sigma and Lean improvements, and guide containment and corrective actions. On-site work requires collaboration with production and development engineers to ensure traceability and compliance.

Qualifications

• BS in EE or related field; master's preferred.
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9001 quality management systems.
• Experience with RCCA/ CAPA processes.
• DoD industry experience a plus.
• Six Sigma Black/Green Belt or Lean certification preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, incoming material, production control, and testing support activities.
• Lead supplier management programs and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure QMS implementation and design-to-production transitions.
• Provide containment guidance and records for non-conforming materials (NCMR) and CARs.
• Support investigations of non-conformance issues.
• Drive continuous improvements with Six Sigma and Lean methods.
• Develop metrics to monitor program performance and traceability per CM guidelines.
