Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, invites a college intern to join the RF engineering test teams in the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA. You will perform RF/microwave measurements, assemble test systems, and use LabVIEW and Python to control equipment and analyze data.

The role offers hands‑on experience with GaAs/GaN devices, PNAs, VNAs, and spectrum analyzers, while learning measurement techniques, de-embedding, and data

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in STEM.
• Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship.
• Pursuit of RF/microwave coursework preferred. Requirements emphasize hands‑on lab work and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF/microwave/millimeter-wave measurements on GaAs and GaN devices, modules and MMICs.
• Perform fixtured and on-wafer probe measurements.
• Assemble RF/microwave/millimeter-wave test systems.
• Use software to control test equipment and plot test results.
