Job summary

Raytheon in Marlborough, MA is seeking an RF/Microwave Engineer to design, develop, test, and manufacture cutting-edge microwave devices and MMICs for defense applications. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across all stages of integration and hardware verification on premier radar and sensing programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or STEM field by start date.
RF circuit design, microwave circuits, electromagnetics or radar coursework.
Experience in RF/microwave design, measurement, antennas, radar architecture, or related.

Responsibilities

Perform fixtured and on-wafer probe measurements, characterization, and assembly of RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave test setups.
Design, simulate, and analyze RF/microwave components, MMICs, and phased array module hardware.
Execute component-level and system-level integration and testing for digital, analog, and RF assemblies.
Utilize automated test instrumentation and software (e.g., Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW) to control measurement systems, capture data, and evaluate test results.
Characterize devices using VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, and PNAs.
Conduct circuit simulations, obsolescence trade assessments, hardware troubleshooting, and failure investigations to resolve performance issues.
Partner with systems, quality assurance, reliability, and manufacturing personnel to develop robust test solutions and optimize production workflows.
