TRUMPF Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician I to join our team as an entry to mid-level technical resource.

You will support hardware and software repair, calibration, and on-site installation for TH product lines, with travel up to 20% in your first year and potential international assignments. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for customer interactions and internal collaboration.

Formación

• 1–2 years in engineering or technical positions
• Read vacuum system architecture from mechanical and electrical blueprints
• Understand Ethernet/DeviceNet/Profibus and related networks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related administrative software
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training
• Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Material Sciences preferred
• Customer service or technical support experience
• Proven project management skills
• Application programming experience

Responsabilidades

• Maintain highest level of product knowledge and industry applications – e.g. Semiconductor, Display, Optical
• Articulate technology and product positioning to business and technical users
• Provide design and specification development support to consultants, integrators, and distributors
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs and convey customer requirements to internal stakeholders
• Lead client consultations and present proposed designs and concepts
• Assist in design and development of new products and tools to progress business objectives
• Maintain accurate records of client accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects and contacts in approved databases
• Provide status reporting of ongoing and future projects
• Travel to local project sites for start-up, integration and training services
• Cooperation with other TRUMPF Huettinger departments
• Provide 24-hour customer support when necessary
