Job summary

Delta Electronics, a leader in RF and microwave interconnects, seeks a Materials Planner to coordinate and optimize material flow to support production schedules in RF manufacturing. You will monitor inventory levels, work with purchasing, production, engineering, and quality teams, and help ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include developing MRP-based plans, releasing purchase requisitions, analyzing shortages, maintaining ERP data, and supporting lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in materials planning or production planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MRP/ERP and Microsoft Excel for analysis.
• Strong analytical and collaborative skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material requirements plan based on forecasts, schedules, and lead times.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure supply of raw materials and RF components.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to release requisitions, follow up on orders, and resolve shortages.
• Analyze MRP output to identify discrepancies and risks.
• Support transitions for new products, changes, and revisions with engineering and production.
• Track supplier performance and coordinate corrective actions for late deliveries or issues.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data, including lead times, safety stock, and BOM data.
• Support cycle counting, inventory reconciliations, and root-cause analysis for variances.
• Cross-train in Purchasing Planning to provide coverage and broaden capabilities.
• Prepare and distribute reports on inventory status, shortages, and readiness; drive lean initiatives.
