Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Material Planner to ensure material availability for production schedules and customer requirements. You will work with Purchasing, Production, and Supply Chain to manage inventory, forecast needs, and communicate risks across departments.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and proactive, with experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor in related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of material planning, production planning, inventory control, purchasing, or manufacturing operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate material requirements based on production schedules, forecasts, and demand.
• Review MRP recommendations and generate material requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available for production schedules.
• Identify shortages or constraints and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Work with Purchasing and suppliers to monitor availability and delivery schedules.
• Expedite materials when necessary to prevent production disruptions.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data and assist with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
• Prepare reports on shortages, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
