Job summary

Epiq Solutions seeks a Manufacturing Planner to translate demand into executable manufacturing plans, create and maintain jobs in Epicor, and coordinate production priorities across Production, Materials, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Program teams.

The role focuses on ensuring material readiness, managing schedules, supporting ECOs/NPI, and driving continuous improvement in ERP/MRP processes to achieve on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, or related manufacturing operations.
• Experience in high-technology manufacturing environments such as electronics, RF, aerospace, or defense preferred.
• Experience independently managing production schedules and priorities in a complex, high-mix environment.
• Ability to interpret BOMs, routings, work orders, and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems to translate demand into production requirements and manage jobs.

Responsibilities

• Translate demand and Master Production Schedule into detailed manufacturing requirements and priorities.
• Create, release, maintain, and close manufacturing jobs in Epicor.
• Develop and maintain production schedules aligning capacity, material availability, and customer delivery.
• Monitor open jobs, progress, material readiness, and schedule performance.
• Evaluate material availability and shortages affecting scheduled work.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Materials on priorities and shortages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage ECOs/NPI impacts.
• Support continuous improvement of ERP/MRP processes and data integrity.
• Maintain accurate planning data in Epicor, including BOMs and routings.
• Support production planning meetings and provide visibility into status and risks.
