Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Newark, CA is seeking an Electronics Technician (RF) to perform RF testing, tuning, troubleshooting, and validation of HPA and HPM systems. You will verify TWT/SSPA functionality, measure RF parameters, and generate performance plots while adhering to engineering specifications.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Project Management to maintain schedules and improve product reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent plus 3–5 years of test/troubleshooting experience.
• Hands-on RF/high-power test experience with HPA/HPM systems.
• Proficient with RF test equipment and measurements.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience documenting RF data and test results in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF testing, tuning, and acceptance testing of RF systems.
• Verify TWT and SSPA functionality and overall RF performance.
• Measure gain, power, frequency response, and harmonics.
• Generate RF plots, reports, and corrective actions.
• Follow procedures and support quality and safety standards.
• Assist environmental testing and burn-in activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams.
