Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer – RF/Hardware SME for Systems Integration & Test in Baltimore. The role emphasizes RF and integrated assembly expertise across hardware, firmware, and control software to support hardware deliveries and customer testing.

You will lead RF/test strategy, drive complex integration, and serve as a key technical interface to program leadership. A DoD Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years’ experience, Master’s with 10 years, or PhD with 8 years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain SAP prior to start.
• Strong depth of experience with RF hardware and test equipment.
• Strong depth of experience with MATLAB coding, test scripting, data analysis and signal processing.
• Knowledge of firmware and hardware control integration planning and execution.
• Experience with systems engineering concepts including requirements analysis and verification.

Responsibilities

• Senior Technical Leader for System Integration & Test (SIT) with RF/Integrated Assembly expertise.
• Define RF test strategies and lead complex integration and troubleshooting.
• Lead multi-disciplinary integration team and enforce integration processes.
• Interface with product design teams for root-cause resolutions.
• Develop schedules and assist with resource management and technical design reviews.
