Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking an Engineering Manager, RF Hardware to lead RF electronics teams across multiple sites and product lines. You will own board- and box-level RF designs, drive engineering processes, and manage staffing and budgets in a fast-growing aerospace startup.

The role combines hands-on technical work with strategic leadership, architecture reviews, and complex debugging to ensure scalable, manufacturable, and robust RF hardware across all products.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in RF board hardware engineering, preferably in aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical integrity and engineering excellence for RF electronics development.
• Establish and enforce RF hardware development processes and design standards.
• Lead architecture/design reviews with SME engagement across digital, RF, power, firmware, and mechanical teams.
• Contribute hands-on to RF board designs and debugging activities.
• Ensure designs are buildable/testable at scale using DFM/DFT.
