Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking an Engineering Manager, RF Hardware to lead RF electronics teams across multiple sites and product lines. You’ll provide technical ownership for RF designs and drive engineering processes in a fast-growing aerospace startup.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong collaboration with manufacturing, supply chain, and QA, plus capability to guide architecture reviews and complex debug efforts at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering is required.
• At least 7 years of direct board-level RF hardware engineering experience.
• Experience leading or guiding engineering teams is preferred but not required.
• Strong RF board design expertise and knowledge of digital/power electronics.
• DFM/DFT experience and transition from development to production.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical integrity and engineering excellence for RF electronics development.
• Establish and enforce RF hardware development processes and design standards.
• Lead architecture/design reviews with SME engagement across disciplines.
• Contribute hands-on to board-level RF designs on high-risk programs.
• Plan budgets and manage staffing, equipment, and software for the team.
