Job summary

Ka-Comm, Inc. is seeking an Electronic and System RF Technician in the Denver area to troubleshoot, install, program, and repair RF communication equipment including mobile radio units, antennas, and related systems.

The role involves work in PSAP centers and tower sites with on-site travel and coordination with Operations/Service management. The ideal candidate will have post high school electronic training and be willing to travel for training, with hands-on skills in soldering and test

Qualifications

• Post high school electronic education/training preferred; experience may substitute.
• Ability to travel for training and seminars to stay current with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, program, and repair RF communication equipment (E).
• Use test equipment for repairs and programming (E).
• Operate hand and power tools (E).
• Determine material needs and order materials for maintenance or replacement (E).
• Complete service paperwork and records promptly (E).
• Respond to emergency repair needs (E).
• Travel to tower sites and customer locations as required.
