Job summary

Ka-Comm, Inc. seeks an Electronic and System RF Technician to troubleshoot RF communications equipment, including mobile radio units, antennas, video recording systems, and data systems, at vehicles, businesses, PSAP centers, and tower sites.

A valid driver's license and readiness to travel are required. You will install, diagnose, program, and repair analog and digital RF gear, use test equipment, and maintain records; emergency repairs are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Post-high school electronics education or training preferred; travel may be required.
• Industry training is encouraged to keep up with evolving tech.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, program, and repair RF communication equipment (analog and digital).
• Use test equipment for repairs and programming needs.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Determine material needs and order supplies.
• Complete service paperwork and records promptly.
• Respond to emergency repair needs.
