Job summary
RACOM seeks an RF Technician to install, configure, and troubleshoot RF communications for critical public safety, utilities, and transportation systems. The role focuses on reliable operation, regulatory compliance, and safety across multiple service centers with occasional travel.

Qualifications
- Hands-on technical experience in electronics or related field.
- Ability to diagnose, resolve, and clearly communicate technical issues to diverse audiences.
- Based at a local service center with travel for deployments, training, and field work.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and repair RF equipment and systems.
- Diagnose signal, interference, and hardware issues.
- Perform testing, firmware updates, and system calibration.
- Support emergency vehicle upfits and 12VDC installs.
- Maintain documentation and service records.
- Travel for field work and training as needed.
- Complete site surveys and RF coverage tests; ensure FCC and safety compliance.
- Assist with system upgrades and new deployments.
