Job summary

Citadel Pacific Ltd is seeking an RF Technical Specialist to provide engineering support for IT&E’s local and international RF operations. The role involves preparing engineering requirements for RF proposals, repairing, installing, and maintaining RF equipment, and assisting in the development of new equipment needs.

The position reports to the RF Manager. You will monitor 5G NSA, LTE, and HSPA+ performance, coordinate with contractors, and help design optimization strategies across clusters

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; trade school or equivalent experience preferred.
• Two years of RF tech/engineering experience or related electronic technician work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance for 5G NSA, LTE, and HSPA+ systems by testing at sites and interpreting data from wireless switches.
• Assist in RF engineering and optimization.
• Repair, install and maintain RF equipment.
• Inspect completed work for hardware integrity, mounting, weatherproofing and proper installation.
• Bolt equipment into place using hand or power tools.
• Test operation of tower transmission components using sweep tools or software.
• Assist in designing optimization and lead performance activities for clusters and markets.
• Collaborate with IT&E deployment teams to meet deliverables at all project stages.
• Coordinate with contractors on antenna calibration, azimuth, tilting, and drive testing performances.
• Assist in planning and performing software and hardware upgrades to wireless switches.
