Job summary

IT&E is seeking an RF Technical Specialist to provide technical engineering support for local and international RF operations. You will assist in preparing engineering requirements for RF proposals and repair, install and maintain RF equipment, under supervision of the RF Manager.

You will monitor 5G NSA, LTE, and HSPA+ networks, work with deployment teams, and coordinate with contractors on antenna tuning and testing, ensuring compliance with NA and international standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; trade school or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Two years of progressive experience in RF technology or electronic technician work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance for 5G NSA, LTE, and HSPA+ systems and interpret data.
• Repair, install and maintain RF equipment and assist in deployments.
• Inspect hardware, verify antennas, hangers, weatherproofing, and tighten components.
• Test tower transmission components using sweep tools and software.
• Run power, ground, fiber, or coaxial cables.
• Assist in design, optimization and performance testing for clusters and markets.
• Coordinate with deployment teams to meet project deliverables and schedule.
• Work with contractors on antenna alignment, azimuth, tilting and drive testing.
