Raytheon Missiles & Defense in Portsmouth, RI seeks a Far Field Range Execution Lead to build and lead a new test execution team, following an immersive rotation in Andover, MA to learn LTAMDS array behavior and Near Field testing. The role requires leadership in RF subsystem testing, phased array analysis, and EVMS-capable project management, with security clearance eligibility due to DoD requirements.

Onsite at US facilities with extensive collaboration across engineering and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Physics, Math or related STEM field.
• 8+ years engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience with Near and Far Field range testing.
• Experience with RF subsystems development, integration, test and production support.
• Strong background in phased array analysis and signal processing (Matlab & Linux).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured rotation in Andover, MA to learn LTAMDS array functionality and Near Field test processes.
• Apply Near Field knowledge to Far Field test execution.
• Stand up, train, and lead a new Portsmouth, RI Far Field Range execution team.
• Prepare the Portsmouth site for operation by partnering with Andover test engineering.
• Serve as independent execution lead for Far Field Range and array-level readiness activities.
• Own Far Field Range products associated with array testing and delivery.
• Execute to plan the phased array testing on multiple simultaneous Far Field ranges.
• Lead multi-discipline teams and convey technical status to the program.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Software Engineering.
• Support development, integration, production, and proposals.
• Apply EVMS methodologies and support capital planning.
