Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Moorestown, NJ, is seeking a Test Engineering Associate Manager to lead a team focused on the design, verification, and qualification of phased array antennas and related subsystems.

You will drive test-automation initiatives, cost estimates for proposals, and staffing plans while ensuring safety, compliance, and on-time execution within a demanding defense program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Physics, or closely related field.
• 5+ years in radar antenna or RF sub-system test engineering.
• 3+ years of supervisory or people-management experience.
• Hands-on near-field RF test methods and measurement equipment.
• Proven ability to develop cost estimates and staffing plans.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development – recruit, onboard, mentor Test Method Engineers; conduct performance assessments.
• Near‑Field Test Facility Management – oversee operation, calibration, and safety.
• Test Coordination & Staffing – align test plans with milestones; allocate resources.
• Capital Improvements – justify and manage test equipment upgrades; track ROI.
• Test Automation & Technology Insertion – lead adoption of automated rigs and software.
• Proposal & Cost Estimating Support – generate labor, material, and overhead estimates.
• Process Excellence – apply Lean/Six‑Sigma to improve efficiency and data quality.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration – work with PMs, SEs, and supply chain.
