Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an RF Engineer for the Starshield program, applying Starlink-derived capabilities to support national security. You will help design RF systems for low Earth orbit satellites, collaborating with hardware, FPGA, DSP, and software engineers.

You will drive RF system design decisions, model antennas and channels, and ensure reliability from PCBA testing to on-orbit troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer or electrical engineering.
• 1+ years of RF engineering experience with tools such as HFSS/CST/ADS, MATLAB, Python.
• Experience with RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer).

Responsibilities

• Drive program-level decisions on RF system designs.
• Research novel solutions for large-scale satellite RF systems.
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, DSP, and software engineers to design RF systems.
• Support RF hardware life cycle from PCBA testing to on-orbit troubleshooting.
• Create electromagnetic simulation models of antennas, filters, and PCB layouts.
