Job summary

Epiq Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to optimize production planning and scheduling for our RF and software-defined radio products in a fast-paced, high-mix environment. You will release and manage Epicor jobs, align capacity with demand, and partner across Engineering, Quality, Materials, Purchasing, and Program teams to ensure on-time delivery and ERP data integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in production planning, manufacturing planning or related operations role.
• Experience in electronics/high-technology manufacturing preferred.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems to translate demand into production requirements and manage jobs.
• Ability to interpret BOMs, routings, and work orders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills and cross-functional communication.
• Eligibility to work on Federal contracts requiring U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer demand and the Master Production Schedule into detailed manufacturing requirements and production priorities.
• Create, release, maintain, and close manufacturing jobs within the Epicor ERP system.
• Develop and maintain production schedules that align capacity, material availability, and delivery requirements.
• Monitor open manufacturing jobs and schedule performance to identify constraints or risks.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Materials to communicate priorities and shortages impacting schedules.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement mitigation plans for obsolescence and NPI/ECO impacts.
• Review BOMs and routings for planning accuracy and escalate discrepancies.
• Support ECOs and NPI by coordinating planning requirements and scheduling.
• Maintain ERP planning data and documentation for traceability.
