Job summary

Prince Industries Inc. is seeking a Production Planner / Buyer to plan and coordinate manufacturing activities, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels.

You will maintain production schedules, manage material requirements, and procure materials and services within an ERP/MRP environment. The role requires 3–5 years in related fields, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems; Epicor ERP experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in production planning, scheduling, purchasing, or materials management in manufacturing.
• Experience in high-mix, low-to-medium volume environments preferred.
• ERP/MRP systems experience required; Epicor ERP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules for all manufacturing departments.
• Analyze demand, capacity, lead times, and material availability to set priorities.
• Monitor production performance and adjust schedules to meet commitments.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and purchasing for efficiency.
• Procure materials and manage supplier performance and lead times.
• Generate weekly reports on production, inventory, and purchases.
