The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks an Electronic Warfare Specialist to help pioneer the future of EW and advance spectrum superiority. You will join the Electronic Warfare Advanced Development Group to explore, prototype, and evaluate concepts for next-generation EW systems in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Internship or research experience in Signal Processing, SDR, Radar, Jamming, RF/Wireless, Communications, FPGA, or Antennas.
  • Ability to establish relationships and interact with teams, management, sponsors, and across organizational boundaries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eligibility to obtain Interim Secret clearance, and ultimately Top-Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship).

Responsibilities

  • Learn, grow, and develop new skills from EW experts.
  • Be exposed to all aspects of EW development.
  • Prototype, test, and pursue new technologies for future EW.
  • Innovate, develop and evaluate concepts for next generation EW systems.
