Job summary

Engineering Design Team (EDT), Inc. is seeking an experienced RF and DSP Design Engineer to join a small, high-performing team. You will help lead the development of our newest product line bringing AI to RF applications at the edge serving the scientific, UAV, industrial, and defense communities.

The role emphasizes SDR, FPGA-based design, and advanced signal processing, with tools including Altium Designer and hands-on debugging of complex hardware systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in RF and DSP design with an emphasis on SDR.
• Ability to initiate and configure digital signals and develop signal processing systems and algorithms.
• FPGA-based SDR design experience.
• Schematic capture, layout, component library development, and BOM creation; preferably with Altium Designer.
• Experience laying out mixed-signal PCBs or directing PCB layout.
• Ability to bring up and debug electronics and system-level issues; with expertise solving data throughput, grounding, and thermal management.
• Experience with EW, SIGINT or satellite COMMs applications a plus.
• Experience with C/C++, Python.
