Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a highly skilled DSP Engineer with expertise in RF signal processing, SDR, and wireless protocol development. The role involves real-time signal processing, digital communications, and RF exploitation techniques for defense applications.

The candidate will write high-performance C/C++ and Python code on Linux, analyze air interface protocols, and collaborate with distributed teams to deliver operational systems from concept to deployment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance (required prior to start)
• Strong knowledge of digital communications theory: detection, estimation and demodulation
• Experience developing modeling techniques, proofs-of-concept and prototypes
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for signal processing
• Experience in Intelligence Community or Defense sectors
• Familiarity with code management tools and version control (Git)
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical docs

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement solutions to collect, process and exploit RF signals
• Perform advanced DSP including detection, estimation and demodulation of wireless signals
• Develop modeling techniques, proofs-of-concept and real-time SDR prototypes
• Write high-performance signal processing code in C/C++ and Python for Linux
• Analyze wireless air interface protocols and digital communications systems
• Collaborate with distributed teams to deliver systems from concept to deployment
