Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking an RF Analog Design Engineer in Austin, TX to develop RF/mixed-signal front-ends for rugged embedded computing used in defense and aerospace.

You will work with FPGA, PCB, and software teams to design high-performance RF signal paths and clocking systems in challenging environments. You will participate from concept through validation and production, influencing architecture decisions and optimizing for noise, timing, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Expertise in RF and mixed-signal signal chains, including RF front ends and ADC/DAC interfaces.
• Experience taking RF hardware from architecture through production.
• Strong RF design theory knowledge: filtering, impedance matching, shielding, high-speed PCB.
• Experience with high-speed ADCs/DACs from TI/Analog Devices or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design RF signal paths, analog front-ends, and low-noise power architectures.
• Collaborate with FPGA, PCB, and systems engineers across the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and resolve signal integrity issues.
