Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking an RF Analog Design Engineer in Austin, TX. You will design RF and mixed-signal front-end architectures for rugged embedded computing used in defense and aerospace.

You will collaborate with FPGA, PCB, embedded software, and systems engineers across the product lifecycle from concept to production. You’ll work on 18 GHz RF circuits, clocking systems, and low-noise power architectures while solving signal integrity challenges and contributing to next-generation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Expertise designing RF and mixed-signal signal chains including front ends, filtering, ADC/DAC interfaces, clocking and power architectures.
• Experience taking RF hardware from architecture through production and debugging processes.
• Strong RF design theory knowledge: filtering, impedance matching, noise mitigation, shielding and high-speed PCB implementation.
• Experience selecting and integrating high-speed ADCs/DACs from TI, Analog Devices, or similar manufacturers.
• Experience designing RF circuits up to 18 GHz and collaboration with FPGA-based processing architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design RF analog front-end architectures for high-performance embedded computing products for defense/aerospace.
• Create RF signal paths, low-noise analog circuits, clocking and power architectures.
• Work with FPGA, PCB, embedded software, and systems teams across the full product lifecycle.
