Job summary

Accounting Search seeks an RF Analog Design Engineer in Austin, TX to develop RF and mixed-signal front-end architectures for high-performance embedded computing used in defense and aerospace applications.

You’ll partner with FPGA, PCB, and software teams to drive from concept through validation, tackling signal integrity and power challenges while shaping next-generation RF platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Expertise designing RF and mixed-signal signal chains, including RF front ends and filtering.
• Experience from system architecture through schematic capture to production.
• Strong RF theory knowledge: impedance, filtering, noise mitigation, grounding.
• Experience selecting high-speed ADCs/DACs from TI/Analog Devices or similar.
• RF circuits up to 18 GHz and digital interfaces to FPGA processing.
• Clock generation/distribution for multiple sampling rates/bandwidths.
• Low-noise power supply design for mixed-signal/RF systems.
• Hands-on lab work with RF test equipment, collaborating with PCB layout.
• Strong troubleshooting to resolve complex analog/mixed-signal issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop RF analog front-end architectures for rugged embedded computing products.
• Design RF signal paths, low-noise circuitry, and clocking systems.
• Collaborate with FPGA, PCB, software, and systems engineers on architectures.
• Guide from concept to validation through production, addressing signal integrity.
• Contribute to next-generation RF/mixed-signal platforms and architecture decisions.
