Modern Machining Solutions Inc. is seeking an RF Analog Design Engineer in Austin, TX to join a defense/aerospace-focused team.

You will design RF front-ends, low-noise analog circuitry, and clocking systems for rugged embedded computing platforms, collaborating with FPGA, PCB, and software engineers. The role covers the full lifecycle from concept to production, with emphasis on signal integrity, RF path optimization, and power architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Expertise designing RF and mixed-signal signal chains including RF front ends, analog filtering, ADC/DAC interfaces, clocking, and power architectures.
• Experience taking RF hardware from concept to production with debugging and validation.
• Strong RF design theory knowledge: filters, impedance matching, and high-speed mixed-signal PCB implementation.
• Experience selecting and integrating high-speed ADCs/DACs from TI/Analog Devices or equivalent.
• Experience designing RF circuits up to 18 GHz and multi-board synchronization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design RF analog front-end architectures for high-performance embedded computing products for defense/aerospace.
• Develop RF signal paths, low-noise analog circuitry, clocking, and power architectures in collaboration with FPGA/PCB/embedded teams.
• Oversee product lifecycle from concept to validation and production, influencing architecture decisions and SI problem solving.
