Job summary

Joseph Michaels International in Austin, TX is seeking an RF Analog Design Engineer to develop high-performance RF and mixed-signal front-end architectures for defense and aerospace applications. You will design RF signal paths and low-noise analog circuitry, and work closely with FPGA, PCB, and systems teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Expertise designing complete RF and mixed-signal signal chains.
• Experience taking RF hardware from architecture to production.
• Strong RF design theory, filtering, impedance matching and SI.
• Experience selecting high-speed ADCs/DACs from TI/Analog Devices.
• RF circuits operating up to 18 GHz.
• Digital interfaces to FPGA-based processing.
• Clock generation and distribution for multiple sampling rates.
• Low-noise power supplies for mixed-signal/RF systems.
• Hands-on lab experience with RF test equipment.
• Collaboration with PCB layout engineers for manufacturability.

Responsibilities
