Job summary

ProAmpac, a global leader in flexible packaging, is seeking a Rewind Assistant in Wisconsin to join the Rewind Department. You will assist with machine setup, feed materials, monitor operations, and support routine maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.

This role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork, with a 2-2-3 day/night shift. It offers room for growth within a stable, values-driven company and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience with rewinding equipment a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assists with machine setup.
• Supplies raw material or components specific to the rewinder machine as needed.
• Monitors rewinder machine operations.
• Assists with routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoots minor technical issues, performs minor repairs or adjustments under the guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
• Ability to fill-in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes, or as necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Completes production logs or reports as required for documentation purposes.
• Effectively works with other departments or team members.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.

Your Role: Rewind Assistant - Rewind Department
