Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Rewind Assistant in the Rewind Department. You will assist with machine setup, supply materials, monitor operations, and support maintenance under supervision.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and accurate production logging, with shift flexibility on a 2-2-3 rotation and a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with rewinding equipment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setup.
• Supply raw materials or components for the rewinder machine as needed.
• Monitor rewinder machine operations.
• Assist with routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues and perform minor repairs under supervision.
• Fill in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Complete production logs or reports for documentation purposes.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments or team members.
• Use forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.

Your Role: Rewind Assistant - Rewind Department

• Assists with machine setup.
• Supplies raw material or components specific to the rewinder machine as needed.
• Monitors rewinder machine operations.
• Assists with routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoots minor technical issues, performs minor repairs or adjustments under the guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
• Ability to fill-in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes, or as necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Completes production logs or reports as required for documentation purposes.
• Effectively works with other departments or team members.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.

What You Bring
