Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Rewind Assistant in the Rewind Department in Wisconsin. You will assist with machine setup, monitor rewinder operations, and supply materials needed for production.

The role includes basic maintenance, shift flexibility, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace while documenting production logs. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED (preferred), basic mechanical and math skills, detail orientation, and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setup and ensure smooth operation of the rewinder.
• Supply raw materials or components for the rewinder as needed.
• Monitor rewinder machine operations and performance.
• Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs under supervision.
• Fill in for machine operation during shifts or breaks as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment and follow safety guidelines.
• Complete production logs/reports for documentation purposes.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments and team members.
• Operate forklift/clamp trucks to move products as required.

Your Role: Rewind Assistant - Rewind Department

• Assists with machine setup.
• Supplies raw material or components specific to the rewinder machine as needed.
• Monitors rewinder machine operations.
• Assists with routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoots minor technical issues, performs minor repairs or adjustments under the guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
• Ability to fill-in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes, or as necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Completes production logs or reports as required for documentation purposes.
• Effectively works with other departments or team members.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.

What You Bring
