Job summary

Genesis Staffing is seeking a Structural Designer to support the development of structural designs, drawings, models, and construction documents for industrial and commercial projects in Greenville, SC.

The role requires proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, a strong ability to read drawings, and collaboration with engineers and architects to deliver code-compliant solutions. Industrial and multidisciplinary project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is required.
• Experience creating and modifying structural models and drawings in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or comparable drafting software.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of structural drafting and detailing practices.
• Understanding of construction methods and structural systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify structural drawings and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Develop structural plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction documents.
• Assist engineers with the design and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and other structural systems.
• Coordinate structural models and drawings with architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and other disciplines.
• Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
• Interpret engineering calculations, specifications, architectural plans, and project requirements.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts.
• Incorporate engineering revisions and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Assist with field measurements, site visits, and documentation of existing conditions when required.
• Follow company drafting standards, project specifications, and applicable building codes.
