Job summary

STRAND in Dallas, TX seeks a Revit MEP Designer/Drafter to produce detailed MEP models and drawings on-site. You will coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other design team members to develop construction documents and maintain Revit families.

A strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, solid drafting standards, and effective communication are essential to ensure project delivery and timely responses to design changes.

Qualifications

• Strong Revit skills for MEP modeling and documentation.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and coordination.
• Proficient in construction documents and plan reading.
• Familiar with CAD tools in multidisciplinary environments.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration with project team.
• Education in drafting or MEP beneficial.
• Experience in building design or commercial projects beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed MEP models and drawings in Revit.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other design team members.
• Develop and maintain construction documents and Revit families.
• Review markups and support clash detection and coordination efforts.
• Support project managers and engineers to meet deadlines and deliver integrated project solutions.
