Job summary

FUTURES CONSULTING LLC in Dallas, TX seeks an Electrical Engineer with 3+ years of experience in MEP/building electrical design. The role emphasizes strong Revit and AutoCAD skills within a multidisciplinary A&E environment for premier projects.

You will design electrical systems from concept to construction documents, perform load calculations, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to deliver compliant, high-quality drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering/design experience in an A&E/MEP environment.
• Experience with building electrical systems design and NEC codes.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems from concept through construction documents.
• Perform electrical load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Design power distribution, lighting, low voltage, and fire alarm systems.
• Develop electrical plans, one-lines, schedules, and construction documents.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC and applicable building codes.
• Participate in project coordination and client meetings.
• Work with senior engineers and designers to deliver quality project documents.
