Job summary

Assurant is seeking a Materials Manager at our Irving, TX facility to oversee the end-to-end flow of materials, optimize inventory, and lead lean improvements across production support. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, reducing costs, and ensuring supply continuity while aligning with internal and external customer requirements.

The position is onsite at Irving, TX with a Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any business or related discipline.
• Minimum seven (7) years’ experience required in a logistics/distribution environment with at least five (5) years of data interpretation/analysis and logistics experience and 2 of inventory management experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years leadership experience with at least five (5) years’ experience managing supervisory personnel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department KPIs and labor efficiency across the area of responsibility.
• Manage cycle counts and inventory control processes to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Liaise between teams, shifts, and departments, and partner with vendor/customer representatives.
• Develop and utilize reporting to ensure SLAs are achieved.
• Identify process improvements and design KPIs for new models.
