Job summary

Autodesk in Oregon seeks a Senior Revenue Analyst to lead parts of a major back-office transformation for Revenue Accounting. You will collaborate with Revenue Accounting, Controllership, System Integrators, Project Managers, Developers and other stakeholders to guide the project and help roll out system and process changes.

The role emphasizes U.S. GAAP revenue recognition, UAT, controls, and training, with hours aligned to PST and a path to broader organizational impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Effective communication skills and ability to understand and present data.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment across all organizations as well as independently.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings to discuss and document project requirements as they pertain to U.S. GAAP, with a focus on Revenue Recognition
• Work closely with your manager to understand operational capabilities and feasibilities of proposals presented
• Perform UAT as well as track and resolve any issues discovered during UAT
• Implement and document processes and procedures as required including SOX compliance and internal controls
• Evaluate accounting implications and confirm we can operationally support operational changes under the provisions of ASC 606
• Provide accounting guidance to project team and developers
• Support broader team in training efforts and overall transition to the new business models and system flows
• Working hours based on PST time zone
