Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Revenue Analyst to drive a back-office transformation in Revenue Accounting. You will partner with Revenue Accounting, the Controllership, System Integrators, Project Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to guide the project, support UAT, and roll out system changes across the organization.

This role requires a solid accounting background, GAAP revenue recognition knowledge, and the ability to translate requirements into practical processes while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Effective communication skills and ability to understand and present data.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment across all organizations as well as independently.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings to discuss and document project requirements as they pertain to U.S. GAAP, with a focus on Revenue Recognition.
• Work closely with your manager to understand operational capabilities and feasibilities of proposals presented.
• Perform UAT as well as track and resolve any issues discovered during UAT.
• Implement and document processes and procedures as required including SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Evaluate accounting implications and confirm we can operationally support operational changes under ASC 606.
• Provide accounting guidance to project team and developers.
• Support broader team in training efforts and overall transition to new business models and system flows.
