The Revenue Cycle team is responsible for supporting customers who have VMS programs in place. VMS stands for “Vendor Management System” and is related to an internet-based system used to manage all levels of staffing from recruiting to payment. The VMS Revenue Specialist will utilize the VMS programs to handle billing and collections duties.
A Day in The Life
- Build relationships with VMS support staff and Project Management staff onsite at the client to help ensure all hours reporting by our contractors are paid correctly.
- Complete monthly audits to ensure hours and bill rates are accounted for accurately.
- Attend weekly aging meetings with manager.
- High level billing resolution.
- Researching and resolving issues which include, but are not limited to, non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Updating internal information when inaccuracies are found.
- Ensure timely application of payments made by VMS customers within your portfolio.
