  • Review new business contracts, verify sales order information and contractual terms, and process associated revenue and customer invoices.
  • Coordinate contract and sales order verification with relevant internal teams to ensure accurate billing and revenue processing.
  • Manage invoice distribution, customer billing communications, and dunning activities for outstanding payments.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and support collections through customer outreach, payment follow-up, dispute resolution, and escalation of past-due balances.
  • Process customer churn and subscription contraction requests and maintain corresponding billing and account records.
  • Support billing and revenue accounting activities in accordance with established policies and applicable GAAP revenue recognition requirements.
  • Maintain accurate accounting for billed and unbilled revenue in accordance with applicable revenue recognition standards.
  • Work with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to resolve contract discrepancies, invoice questions, billing disputes, and customer account issues.
  • Maintain complete and accurate customer, contract, and billing information across applicable business and accounting systems.
  • Support internal controls throughout the order-to-cash process and help ensure accounting policies and procedures are properly documented and followed.
  • Prepare and maintain accounts receivable and revenue-related account reconciliations, identifying and investigating discrepancies between billing platforms, revenue systems, CRM records, and the general ledger.
  • Assist with monthly financial close activities involving accounts receivable, customer billing, deferred revenue, and revenue-related reconciliations.
  • Prepare and provide supporting accounting records and documentation for audits.
  • Evaluate existing billing workflows and recommend process improvements that increase accuracy, processing speed, operational efficiency, and overall productivity.
  • Complete additional accounting and finance projects assigned by the Controller or VP of Finance.
