Job summary

Socket.dev in Los Angeles is seeking an Operations Analytics Engineer to join our data & operations team. In this hybrid role, you’ll monitor health of revenue products, identify anomalies, and ensure data accuracy across pipelines, guiding fast triage and prioritizing fixes.

You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Product to validate system behavior and improve quality, with a focus on proactive monitoring and timely responses.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with experience in KPIs and metrics.
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with dashboarding/BI tools.
• Able to work across data engineers, product managers, and ops specialists.
• Demonstrates ownership and bias for action in addressing issues.
• Experience with data quality monitoring tools or alerting systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor core KPIs across customers, segments, and systems to identify anomalies.
• Investigate root causes of performance issues across data, operations, or product changes.
• Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and monitors for revenue health.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Product to validate system behavior.
• Maintain and evolve business health checks as an early-warning system.
• Create documentation and playbooks to improve response times and practices.
