Job summary

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Revenue Operations AI Task Author to design and evaluate expert tasks in revenue and sales operations. You will create prompts, scoring rubrics, and task environments for enterprise workflows, ensuring accuracy by self-testing and refinement.

The role is a remote, part-time contractor position with 20+ hours per week worldwide and English-language work. You will validate tasks against AI models and iterate to calibrate difficulty and clarity, contributing to AI

The Revenue Operations AI Task Author Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Revenue Operations AI Task Author to create and evaluate expert tasks based on realistic Revenue Operations and Sales Operations scenarios. Tasks may involve CRM records, orders, email, chat, operational dashboards, and the reconciliation of information across business systems.

You will apply practical experience with bookings, account data, fulfillment pipelines, and recognized revenue to design challenges that are both realistic and objectively scorable. You will also validate your own work and refine tasks based on testing.

What You'll Do

You will design structured evaluation tasks that reflect the decisions and information-reconciliation work performed by revenue and sales operations professionals. Each task should have a clear objective, realistic business context, and standards that make correctness verifiable.

• Author prompts involving bookings reconciliation, account discrepancies, fulfillment pipelines, and recognized revenue.
• Write scoring rubrics that define precise, verifiable standards for correct answers.
• Configure task environments that reflect the business systems used in enterprise work.
• Solve each task yourself to validate its soundness and confirm that the rubric is accurate.
• Test tasks against AI models and adjust complexity, ambiguity, or required steps until the challenge is appropriately calibrated.
• Review and correct AI-drafted prompts and rubrics when needed.

Required Experience and Skills

This role requires hands-on experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a closely related enterprise function. Although the opportunity is listed at an entry level, applicants must be able to apply practical revenue expertise to complex workflow and evaluation tasks.
