Job summary

Rebel Athletic LLC seeks a Revenue Manager to oversee revenue recognition, billing accuracy, and close activities in a fast-paced apparel business. You will partner with Accounting, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure correct revenue treatment across channels.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years in revenue-focused accounting, and strong Excel skills. Hybrid work and annual bonus opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Five or more years of accounting experience with a focus on revenue recognition and close.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly revenue recognition principles.
• Experience with month-end close processes and account reconciliations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage revenue recognition in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Review contracts, sales orders, and transactions to ensure proper revenue treatment.
• Ensure accurate timing and classification of revenue across all channels.
• Maintain documentation supporting revenue-related accounting decisions.
• Lead revenue-related close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review revenue schedules and supporting documentation.
• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies during close cycles.
• Oversee invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Partner with AR on cash application and customer balances.
• Support resolution of billing discrepancies and inquiries.
• Prepare revenue reports and support financial statement preparation.
• Analyze revenue trends and variances for accuracy.
• Provide leadership with insights into revenue performance.
