You will collaborate with Accounting, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure proper revenue treatment and strong internal controls.

Responsibilities include managing month-end close, generating revenue reports, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Five+ years of accounting experience with a focus on revenue recognition and close.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly revenue recognition principles.
• Experience with month-end close processes and account reconciliations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and cross-department collaboration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, owning revenue accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue recognition in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Review contracts, sales orders, and transactions for proper revenue treatment.
• Ensure accurate timing and classification of revenue across channels.
• Maintain documentation supporting revenue decisions.
• Lead revenue-related close activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review revenue schedules and supporting docs.
• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies during close cycles.
• Oversee invoicing processes for accuracy and timeliness.
• Partner with AR on cash application and customer balances.
• Support resolution of billing discrepancies and inquiries.
• Prepare revenue reports and support financial statement prep.
• Analyze revenue trends and variances for accuracy.
• Provide insights into revenue performance and issues.
• Develop and maintain internal controls over revenue processes.
• Identify improvements in revenue tracking, billing, reporting.
• Ensure compliance with policies and audit requirements.
• Support external audits with documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations on revenue flow.
• Provide guidance on revenue processes and requirements.
• Serve as point of contact for revenue questions.
