• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in government payer, managed care payer, healthcare billing, reimbursement, or claims processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform departmental operations, budgeting, and staffing; assist management with interviewing, training, and counseling staff.
• Plan and assign work; demonstrate methods to complete assignments.
• Monitor workload and productivity to meet standards.
• Maintain relationships with patients, faculty, and hospital personnel; provide information for processing accounts and collections.
• Develop budgets, monitor operations, and assist with Guest Relations program.
• Coordinate daily staffing schedules and ensure coverage per MU Health Care policies.
