Job summary

Pullman Regional is recruiting a Revenue Integrity Specialist to support its revenue cycle, ensuring accurate charge capture and compliant billing using Epic and related systems. You will review charge discrepancies, monitor work queues, and collaborate with clinical and revenue teams to reduce denials and leakage.

The role requires knowledge of CPT/HCPCS, codes, and payer guidelines, plus 2+ years in hospital revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and understand policies and instructions.
• Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS, revenue codes, and payer guidelines.
• Two+ years in hospital revenue cycle, chargemaster maintenance, or medical billing/coding.
• Experience with hospital billing systems Epic.
• Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve assigned Epic work queues related to charge review and billing exceptions.
• Research and resolve charging discrepancies prior to claim submission.
• Correct charging errors within Epic while ensuring compliance with policies.
• Document findings in Epic and tracking systems.
• Review charge reconciliation reports for missing or duplicate charges.
• Collaborate with clinical departments to resolve charging discrepancies.
• Review and resolve claim edits related to coding, modifiers, and payer requirements.
• Support audits and maintain billing accuracy across departments.
