Job summary

Uvalde Memorial Hospital in Uvalde, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Integrity & Reimbursement Analyst to support accurate, compliant, and optimized reimbursement across the revenue cycle.

You will analyze reimbursement data, identify denial trends and underpayments, investigate revenue leakage, and develop recommendations for leadership, while collaborating with Patient Accounting, HIM/Coding, CDI, Registration, Informatics, Finance and clinical departments to strengthen performance.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressive hospital revenue cycle experience preferred.
• Associate degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, HIM, HIT, or related field preferred.
• Relevant certification may be substituted for formal education.

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue cycle and reimbursement data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Identify denial trends and underpayments; investigate revenue leakage and billing inaccuracies.
• Develop actionable recommendations for leadership to improve performance.
• Support payer appeals and evaluate charge capture and billing workflows.
• Assist with system and process improvements; monitor regulatory and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with Patient Accounting, HIM/Coding, CDI, Registration, Informatics, Finance and clinical departments to strengthen revenue cycle performance.
